Hey Grizzly,

Post some pics when you're done.  I was considering the same project for my SEUC.  I figured matching the Autumn Haze would be the hard part.

Hi Skyman,

I believe this one is really for you... I wouldn't mind seeing some pics of the finished project as well.

I was thinking about doing the same thing, but I have backed out. I even bought the matching backrest (with the ostrich inlay) for a king tour pack before it was discontinued. It is still in the box if you are interested?

A friend of mine, took the attached picture of a bike like ours with a king tour pack at the Oklahoma State Rally. It looks great!

Man that does look great.  Much better than the leather IMO.  Somebody, obviously knows how to paint them.

gonna do it----will go in tomorrow to start ordering parts.  I hear there is a local person to Sacramento who can match CVO paint--will do autumn haze on the tp.

Looks like I may be able to accomodate the Chief with my leather pack so will lessen the cost pain threshhold.  Looks like my biggest obstacle will be matching the back rest vs buying a new seat and back rest.

Thanks for the pics.

Hey Skyman

I would like to know who the painter is in Sac.  I put the Vivid Black King TP on my 06 SE Ultra & would like to make it match the  rest of the paint.  I have the Autumn Haze.

Here is the link with pic's

Vivid black TP on the autumn haze---would like to see how that looks.
It is my understanding you can order a vivid black tour pack according to sac harley.   I spoke with the sales manager there--was going to trade mine in for an 08--bastards wouldn't give me squat due to high miles---anyway he said there is a guy in Yuba City that has the CVO color matching down.  I didn't get his name on the spot because I wasn't sure when I would start the conversion.  Now that I have the back rest coming to me I am going to go back down there and find out----going to be a few weeks due to kids sports stuff.

I like the autumn haze tp shown earlier on here--that was nice---would like to compare a black one to that to see the difference.

Regards,
Skyman

Love that Pic of the A Haze painted one.  I need the name of a painter that can do it.

As nice as it looks I'm going to have to say that the autumn haze paint scheme really looks good.   The blue SEUC on the page with the King TP looks really good as well.

I will call Sac Harley tomorrow and get the name of the person who can do the paint.

I think I have a good direction and until June to get er done--next 5k trip!!

I'll post when I get the number.
