Anyone know the difference in these muffler sets?

65591-09  These are the trash that HD installs OEM on their 09 FL baggers
65592-09

66080-06B These are  OEM on 06-08 Screamin Eagle CVO Baggers Big Good looking 4in EPA approved Mufflers
65913-06B   These work perfectly with fullsac baffles

66012-06B These are basically the same 4in CVO mufflers they are numbered differently because they come as

66077-06B Part of the 96-110 cu in upgrade kit

Thanks

I also have information that the 09 baggers have Cats installed in the section of headpipes where the two pipes converge as one. Does this mean I have cats in the pipes and additional cats in the mufflers too?

Nope. The '09 SE mufflers have no cats. Only in the headpipe...

As Rick just mentioned the cats are in the headpipes only not the mufflers. Here are a few threads that might interest you on the '09 CVO 110ci (and I believe California) exhaust...

Sorry, I guess I should clarify. I bought an 09 SG and had them put the stage II, 103 kit with 255 cams. They also added 66080-06b and 65913-06b cats.

Then I read that 09 baggers have cats in the 2-1-2 pipe. I am wondering if they just added cat mufflers to a bike which already had cats in the headpipes...

Thanks, Jim

The upgrade kits for the 103 and 110 come with a new head pipe to replace the existing one on the '09 SG, these are cat equipped.
If the bike was a CA bike, you already have a cat head pipe, and the head pipe is not included in the kit. If you check the accessory catalog, it will have different kits for CA bikes and 49 State bikes. I hope this helps a bit.

Thanks, the bike is not a california model.

The description for the 2009 49 state 103 kit says they come with Cat Headers or Cat mufflers. I asked the dealer for all the take off parts and only got mufflers, pistons, jugs, and cams, etc. Didn't get a headpipe, so I'm thinking they used just the Cat mufflers and/or kept the headpipes with no cat in them. Guess I'll have to pull the right side muffler and look up in the headpipe. If no Cat then Yea!... If they put one on with the Cat, then they kept my Cat-less headpipe and probably sold it to someone. If that's the case they are not going to like me next visit, LOL...

Thanks, jim

Yeah, it's interesting the stories you get from dealers. They will tell you "they're all like that" until the customer follows up on it. Best bet is for YOU to check things out. If your kit came with all the parts listed that YOU paid for, I WOULD ask for ALL the parts they took off.
