Cam Recommendations

  I have a friend who has owned a 2006 CVO ULTRA since new, The bike has remained stock except for pipes, air cleaner and a download, he wants to do a set of cams, The HD dealership that he goes to is only talking SE stuff but I know they will install aftermarket parts. He doesn't want to do any head work but I might be able to convince him to pull the heads for a gasket swap if it's beneficial for the cam up grade. Any recommendations for a mild upgrade in cams for a  103 ???        THANKS  "BostonBoy"

There are a ton of cam choices out there, defintely. I'm sure you'll get a lot of specific details from the great members on this board.

In the meantime, you might have him talk with Bob Woods at Woods Performance. www.woodcarbs.com Bob will always talk about his cams but he's a great resource for understanding the "science" of cams. Super nice guy.

Zippers (Redshift) and Freedom Cycles (Yuill Bro's) have designed bolt in cams for the CVO 103 motors. Check out these threads...
