Glad to see some of you pulling trailers. I have been pulling my trailer for 6 years now, started out pulling with my 96 wide glide and two up. I realized it was to much pressure on that light of a bike. So moved up to a Road King Classic with the new brakes and air suspension. I would not have ever pulled a trailer in the first place if were not for the tent that pops out of it. Makes all the difference in comfort, sleeping off the ground finally, able to carry all of your camping gear etc. Anyway once I get the new jester I will post pictures and more info. I drove over a scale awhile back just to see, 500 lbs loaded. I can tell you from experience that if you are pulling a trailer of this weight by yourself, no problem with power, however add the second person on the back and you better have some extra power. I have been doing fine with a 95 inch kit and the sceaming eagle heads. So the 103 or larger will do just fine. Now there is eight riders pulling these compact tent trailers and almost every one of them said I will never drag one of those things behind me. But, once you hook one on it is very hard to go back. Way to comfortable sleeping off the ground and we even have a portable shower and shower tent we can bring with instant hot water as long as you have a water source available.
