One of my buddies builds a vertical reciever hitch that fits close to the fender, therefore not needing the "bumper".  When I get to it this weekend, I'll try to post a picture.  Works and looks slick.  Very simple and sturdy design.

I have the Bushtec unit on my 06 and tow a legend trailer it works great.  With the ball removed you don't see anything.

Did you have your legend trailer painted to match your CUSE??  That's what I'm wanting to do....have no idea where to start.

No it is painted black so it looks nice with the black & crimson 06 or with the orange & black 04.

I didn't like the kuyakan unit.  I only pull the trailer ocassionally and think the hitch sticking out looks ugly. IMHO

Yeap - I made one - with one connector into the harness and 2 sockets - one for the rear lights and the other for the trailer wiring - It helped that I could get the connector shells and pins for nothing from work... (and the Tyco crimp tool...)

Works just fine and avoids cutting into the harness

Cheers

I came across this photo that was posted several months ago on this website. I think the person was thinking of selling these trailers? I don't remember the outcome though.
