[smiley=nervous.gif] The Arc de Triomphe is a monument in Paris that stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle, formerly the Place de l'Étoile, at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. Although I can not provide you a link to the circle around this monument, can I tell you that in my mind's eye, this is as scary a traffic situation, that the faint of heart should just ignore, that I can imagine. We drove around it "Once" at 2:30 AM and made it out unscathed. We usually parked in the secure garage at Charles De Gaul and just metroed into the city from there. You can get metro passes that takes you every where you want to go. A marvel of efficient transportation. Driving in many foreign countries is best left to those that grew up with it. The use of the horn is as important as signal lights, gas pedal and brakes. [smiley=nervous.gif]
