« on: September 21, 2004, 10:54:23 PM »

Does anyone have a really good photo yet of a 05 Red Bike? Love to see it if someone has one to post.

for what its  worth  I hear the red is absoulely stunning.   You are going to be so happy.
I've spoken to people that have seen it and they say it is gorgeous.
From the dealers I have called their is also a big premium on it.

No premium on Red ones in the Tpa Bay area except for Rossisters HD in Sarasota, they have them marked up $3000 on all colors. Rest of the dealers are MSRP..
Hope color looks better than the HD brochure, it is unimpressive there. Still looking forward to it arriving next week.

I saw, sat on and drooled over all the SE bikes at Sturgis.  The teal is striking, but I think for myself the muddy looking dark teal would grow old quickly.  That is ONLY my opinion, others might find it wonderful.  The yellow is gaudy beyond belief.  Nice metallic color, but too much for the dash to be the same color.  The red is classic HD.  I think it is the color that I can live with the best.  It explodes in the sunlight.  I guess I better like it as my red 05 was shipped on Sept. 21st.  I had my choice of all three colors and picked the cherry bike.  Just my .02  Spook.

Spook, I agree with you on the colors.  I've seen the green in person and it doesn't impress me.  Have yet to see the yellow or red in person.  If I were buying one it would be red all the way.  You should be the first one with the red SEEG.  Make sure you post some photos when she arrives.  You're only two hours away, maybe we'll hookup sometime.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Brad

Before I get flamed, I don't have a digital camera.  That being said I picked up my red bike on Friday.  I have 250 miles on it as we speak.  Great color.  Many compliments.  When I was still in the dealer lot a WI.  HP stopped and looked at the bike and we chatted for a bit.  Dealer was great (Sauk Prarie HD, in Sauk City WI).  Like the bike, the lower fairings work just fine thank you.  Now all I need is my Race tuner to get the pipes and aircleaner.  Spook.

Spook, congrats on the new wheels.  Sauk is a very nice dealership.  They have been in business for 25 years.  Did you talk to or deal with Brad or Nancy?  I bought my 03 Fatboy from Capital City HD, both of them worked there at the time. Both are very nice to deal with and friendly.

LOL, yeah, $30,000 bike but no $300 digital camera.  I would give you a harder time, Spook, but I was once in your shoes. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

The sad reality is that even if I did have a digital camera, my computer literacy would most likely nullify the possibility of successfully posting a picture.  A man needs to know his limitations!!!  Thanks for the replies.  Spook.

No longer need photos of Red Bike, Mine arrived today and they uncrated it while I was there. Like it, but dark color could have been something besides Earl Schiebs Maroon. Otherwise pretty cool.
