ok, my reload worked...my advice is to stay and watch the complete download to make sure it goes thru ALL 10 updates.  :apple:

I called H-D customer service and asked them about my boom not down loading. Now the system has a beep coming out of all four speakers I was told to take it back to the stealer. I have the exhaust off now installing the Fullsac DX pipe and 2.25 cores.

Just for grins, I went back to the Harley download page and reloaded the update into the bike from scratch. I'll find out tomorrow if it works. Fingers crossed. For what it's worth, a buddy of mine has a 14 Limited that he upgraded to Boom stage 2. He didn't know that his AVC wasn't working right until I explained to him how to check it while riding down the road. Now, he's afraid of loading the new update after I told him of the new gremlins with 19.

AMEDD_SFC , did you try the new version? I did have to re pair my phone which along with the XM stations took all of 2 minutes. everything else was just like before. Not sure even how you would redo your address book? that is automatic and occurs everytime your phone connects,  there is a button to reflash if you want but that is always there.
My upload went thru smooth, no glitches the first time and Everything works. I was at the dealer today and they have had no complaints from anyone.

Panz I had 2 inch Fullsac cores on 09 CVO and I could not hear it run so I thought I would try 2.25 this time. I always wear a helmet with speakers right at my ears

Circleracer...please take my comment as a joke, just trying to lighten up your problem. I meant no harm or malice towards you. I hope your problem will be fixed by your dealer, actually, I'm in envy of you having fullsac pipes and cores...on my wish list. Best of luck.

I know you are just joking and that is how I took it. It takes a lot more than that to get me upset!!! Just good fun!!! I will get it fixed and some day I will learn how to operate the boom system and install down loads by my self!!!

I mis-wrote.  I should have said saved locations.  I will probably get around to the update. Fortunately I am not experiencing as many glitches as a lot of folks seem to be.  So, it's not a pressing issue.

Thanks for your reply.

Ok, give me 1.18.3 back. Since downloading 1.19.0 (correct radio etc) my radio now jumps from FM to WB for no reason what so ever...plus AVC still doesn't work. If an automobile manufacturer had this problem they would be deluged with a line of vehicles at their service door. Maybe that's what we should do...they cost as much or more then a lot of cars and trucks on the market today. I don't understand how some peoples bikes are ok and others aren't. Did we (the ones that still have a problem) do something wrong on copying and downloading this to our bikes or is it just luck?? Not a happy camper right now.

I apologize for not being able to give more specific instructions...  I remember when I first got my bike I had the same Weather Band problem.  In the configuration (set-up)  there is an option for alerts.  Turn it off.

I thought I was going batty until I figured it out.

Regards,

Mark

Downloaded mine the other day and the only thing I've noticed is it takes longer for the unit to boot up when turned on.  I haven't timed it but it seems like it takes 20-30 seconds until I get the "accept" screen after turning the bike on.  I always try to wait for it to boot up before starting the bike.  Other than that, mine seems to be operating correctly!
