Thought I was good to go. Now it's back to only recognizing the USB drive when it wants to.

Loaded 1.19.1 yesterday and went on a 400 mile cruise.
Issues i observed
. Volume controls still sometimes do not work
. Ability to cycle audio channels or stations while in nave mode does not work "most of the time"
. Presets are stll messed up
. Avc seems not to operate properly
. No discernable difference in boot time

Install was easy, still not finished ringing it out

I am not impressed.
- radio cuts in and out
- would be nice if the last screen you are using eg. GPS comes up when you restart the bike after fueling or something like that.....

Just did the update on mine. GPS is even worse. Next turn is one turn ahead of what it should be ( 2 turns ahead)  How long do we put up with crap before a class action lawsuit is filed? Can't trust it to guide you anywhere now.  :zwtf:

Remember, a class action lawsuit does not cost HD anything in actual cash, it only damages the brand and not a lot there either as most of us will buy another anyway, It DOES cost everyone of us when we pay the increase in the cost of the next bike we buy as they recover there losses from legal fee's and increased advertising to improve the  branding that any suit creates.
We are the only ones who finally loose.

It's a sad thing too, but you're absolutely right.  These companies didn't get to be big and powerful without learning how to pass unforeseen costs along somehow.

Hey guys!  I have figured out what's going on here now at the MoCo!  The fellows in the Boom!Box department are making a career project out of our radios!  Isn't that what we used to call "job security"????    :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

We are now starting our third model year with this Head Unit that does not work as designed.

Time zones are still screwed up.  Nebraska wester part loads a pacific time, Western KY loads a Mountain time, East TN as Central time and so on.

New update can no longer call your hotel, adds way to many numbers.

My bet the 2018's will be out and Harley will still not have this working correctly.

If your automatic volume control does't work....try letting the boom audio boot all the way up before starting your motor.

A friend of mine said that his was not working and now he let it boots up prior to starting the motor and works every time now.

I know it a bandaid...but give it a try....and let us know if it works.

I had not seen this before but learned it today and could not find it mentioned here.  With the 1..19.0 and 1.19.1 software updates, you can activate the "high contrast colors" by pressing the info button on the right handle bar for 3-4 seconds.

Had the same issue however this was resolved on my update that occurred several weeks ago during a service.
