Got my new 15 CVO LTD tuned on the dyno, bikes got HD race tuner, V&H power duals and V&H hi output mufflers. When bike was picked up new it only had a generic map downloaded until after break in and at which time was put on the dyno for a proper tune. Bike runs well and came in at 92hp/103 ft lbs of torque, which was a gain of 13hp from stock. The problem is that the bike seems to run quite a bit hotter than it did with just the generic download, to the point where as soon as you come to a stop and bikes idles down it is in the rear cylinder shutdown mode. Bike went back to dealer and they adjusted the fuel/air mixture to add more fuel in "mid driving" range but still seems to produce more heat than before dyno, at this point I am considering having just the generic map reinstalled as was prior to dyno even if I do lose some horse power. Any advice or comments would be great.
