First off, I'm very happy with the performance and sound on my '15 SERGU. I've considered removing the plugs as I did on my SE muffler on the '12 to give it a bit more umph sound wise. However, I'm over the loud Harley as I'm getting older and the stock db level is just fine. I did remove the inner extension pipe piece as it was already rusting in both pipes....plus I think the stock SE mufflers look better without the extensions.
ANYWAY, I'm thinking that any tune would be a good thing no matter stock header/pipes or decatted or Fulsac header and Fulsac baffles or aftermarket mufflers. These things are so lean from the factory that a good tune should help the motor run better in any configuration other than the stock ECM settings?
I'm pondering on this for future consideration down the road after the 2 year factory runs out so it's not something I have to do tomorrow. A tune alone isn't something that is discussed without also including exhaust and/or AC modifications. It may not even be something that's worth pursuing but it was on my mind and I thought I would throw it out there to discuss.
....so here we go.....
