I noticed the latest catalog shows the black finish and logo like your picture.  The 2013 and 2014 catalogs showed the plain version in my picture.  I would be interested in seeing if the production part is still plain, or has now been changed to the one currently in the catalog.

Jerry

Current inventory at my local dealership is plain with no logo.  Perhaps logo'd SE lifters are coming down the line as part of the marketing push?   :nixweiss:  I can't imagine why the MOCO would put added manufacturing expense into the lifters unless for marketing purpose.

Look at how the T/C crank was advertised(marketed) taking out full page adds in Cycle World, and related publications, claiming how robust and superior to the predecessors.
We know how different that turned out to be.

Another good example of how marketing tries and often succeeds in turning crap into gold, at least on paper.  And another good example of why I am so cynical when it comes to advertising claims, especially these days when false advertising isn't punished and seemingly everyone is doing it.  What started out as minor puffery many years ago has morphed into flat out BS in many cases.

2 years ago I spoke (regarding lifters) with the HD Tech that did the final assembly on the 117 in the '09.  "Anything but the SE Lifters, they're made by Jims..." "Jims recommends changing lifters at 5k miles (with a look of how much BS is that)" "I've rebuilt more engines with failed SE Lifters (Jims) than anything else..."

I don't know if HD has since changed vendors for the SE Lifters, 'really don't care, S&S Premiums in the '09...

'Had all Components replaced in the Cam Chest of the '05 SEEG (before ESP expired) with OE Components (wanted to stay stock except for the Hydraulic Tensioner Kit), 10k mi. all is quiet and smooth...

Your HD pushrods will work fine with the S&S Premium Lifters!! Just check your pushrods on a flat surface to make sure they are true. If ok, run em.  twinotter

Jim does not make twin cam lifters directly. The SE lifters of late are Eaton.
The S&S lifters are comparable with Screaming Eagle adjustable pushrods.

Maybe a dumb question...but will the stock HD pushrods on my '15 110 work with the S&S lifters or am I changing pushrods as well?

They will work, but you'll be trapped into that pre-load, set by the length of that OE pushrod.
