they scratch way too easy
I got a pair of the Fast Aire screens back right before the bike was delivered. Had read that they scratched a bit easier than one might like but thought I'd try.
To cover all kinds of things (freshly painted engines, aluminum parts, forward facing lenses, places where water migration in to joints might be a rust-inducing problem, just all kinds of stuff) I have used a product called Nyalic for years. Comes in a spray can.
It's a super protectant. So I figured I'd try it as a test piece on one of the two wind screens. Been on the screen a couple of months now. Still very clear. I do wipe it with the recommended types of cloth and the occasional soft cotton shop towel. But so far there's not really a mark on it.
Of course I've not subjected the other screen to any "control" type treatment so can't make a direct comparison. But if anyone is doing work around the shop or around the house and an aerosol protectant coating that literally comes from the Apollo program might be of benefit to you it's really good stuff.
