    ROMEO HAS ARRIVED!!!

Temps @ a balmy 43 degrees, not to cold for a test ride but way to much road salt on the ground I'll have to wait, Rain coming next 2 days, I'll wait it out. Steve left the cylinder badges in 110 stealth mode for me! I won't change them until I dust off a few old bragging buddies :2vrolijk_21:

The DD7 is hidden pretty well behind the Rush Wrath header pipe, so I just say it was a pipe change!!! :2vrolijk_21:

It's funny, last Saturday I went riding with some new friends and my old 110 badges ended up back on my Ultra for the day.

It'll be a while before the 117 badges go on the RK!

Hey Folks,

Well here it is the first ride report finally!!  Surprisingly my bike arrived in 5 days from Steve's shop in Texas, (2 & 1/2 weeks to deliver it to him)  but the day before delivery we had about 2-3 inches of snow and the state of Massachusetts decided to use up their excess salt supply (not much snow this winter so they had to expel the budget) so now I waited for a good heavy rain to wash the streets again. While waiting for rain it gave me time to give it a good detailing, Mod the right side HD frame heat deflector to fit with the new Rush Wrath 2 into 1 exhaust it has a longer rear header pipe compared the D & D as well as a milder exhaust note at idle IMO, I also installed the Yaffe curved license plate frame which was a PITA but it looks killer. So now the first ride, Off came the battery tender hit the starter and it fired right up, and settled into a nice idle, I let it warm about two minutes pulled the new AIM clutch waited about 30 seconds dropped the new DD7 into first and got a heavier and more solid sounding engagement of first gear with no forward lurching, My bike always lurched with the first engagement with a cold tranny and I've used Redline since the first service. Steve has really put a nice package together, this motor has mega power every where, I didn't beat on it to hard but the short first gear gets the bike rolling at effortless RPMS. Hard roll on the throttle in 2nd gear and the rear tire will lose traction, 3rd and above it just flies right through the rpm's!!!  I'm really looking forward to getting more time in the saddle because this is a brand new machine!!  ALL THANKS TO STEVE @ GMR PERFORMANCE!!!!!  :2vrolijk_21:

Excellent. I followed the build and love the dyno numbers. I went with the TC-24D's and was thinking about switching them out for Steve's 600 cams. But the little bit I will pick up I'm not going to mess with it. Have fun.

Be Safe

Would those with these 117 upgrades mind terribly on reporting noise or oil usage in the coming months? On the fence.
