Thanks Fired00d for adding this to the correct thread. I have now attached the photo that I added to the other "Heated Grips" thread. Needless to say; it was heartbreaking seeing my brother's new bike stuffed away in a graveyard of other bikes awaiting repairs. I have encouraged my brother to contact HD Customer Service about a claim but he doesn't want to "create a stink." Needless to say; I'm upset about this because I received the bike and didn't spot the blemish and the dealership insists that nobody there "noticed it" (of course).

The odds are good the dealer will need a factory rep approval anyway to replace a CVO paint part, so he would not be creating a "stink" just getting the ball rolling.

When my tourpak lid had to be replaced the dealer didn't even flinch, just made notification to the rep.

My younger brother picked up his bike yesterday (that's him on the left in the background). Hannah's HD in Media PA could not have done a better job resolving the problem with the tank's paint blemish! They handled it quickly and the bike looks absolutely fantastic! (As you can see by my brother's best friend's expression :-)

I want to apologize for bringing my own preconceived problems and anxiety into this situation. As a lifetime Honda rider this has been a very enlightening experience for me. The extremely personal, and optimistic, customer service that my brother has received from Tommy Hannum's crew is something that I will never forget. You Harley guys really do treat each other like family. I can certainly better understand the underlying appeal.

Thanks again for all of the informative advice and for "rubbing my shoulders" when I was panicking over nothing.

^^^ Good to see you were taken care of. My dealer just replaced my inner fairing. Good to hear there are other dealers out there doing a good job.
