U.S Air Force, 5th Mobile Combat Group '71 thru '74.  While our permanent station was Warner-Robins, Ga, I was TDY in more places than I care to count - hence the word "mobile"

20 years active duty Air Force . 1972-1992
 I was an Avionics tech (com-nav) C-141's & C-130's mostly. C-5A's UH1,s C-135,s ...ect
I was stationed at Keesler AFB MS, McChord AFB WA, Yakota AB Japan, & Little Rock AFB AR. Too many TDY,s to mention (or remember).
Would do it again!

Camp Pendleton, Ca...........76-78   (MCTSSA)

Got out for 3 years and partied; went back in 1982...Figured if I didn't go back in I'd be in jail...Turns out I made the right choice

Albany, Ga.........................84-85 (MCLB)

Okinawa.............................85-86 (Camp Butler)

New Orleans.......................86-89 (4th MarDiv)

Retired out Nov, 91 due to medical issues (Hips needed replaced)

I was a 3002 - way back, when you were getting out I was at Camp Johnson becoming a Ground Supply Officer...

MCTSSA - tough life on the beach, did the volley ball get in the way of your work schedule?

Hey Now....Somebody had to do the dirty duty; got sunglasses and a beach towel issued upon check in and knew then life was gonna be good  :2vrolijk_21:...Couldn't never figure out why they didn't issue us suntan lotion too; got sunburned to many times while fishing at lunch time. Guess I shoulda sent a request to HQMC for the lotion uh?  ;D

21 years Navy, retired in 95! Seat mech, pilot's loved us if and when they needed to eject! :2vrolijk_21: And just so everyone knows, Goose would not have been killed if not for Hollywood!
