We have to get hung up on numbers, graphs and dyno types. That's all we can go by. Only you get the readings from the seat dyno and that's really the only one that matters. Congrats. I hope it gives you many years of miles and smiles.
My brother has a non cvo breakout with the T mann package ported heads 660 cam 55 mm tb inj etc. he makes 119/ 124 ,when we raced on sunday from 2 gear roll at 3000 rpm I jump on him 2-3 bikes ,he stays that distance to about 95 mph then I start pulling away from him .So I must make more power than him :nixweiss:

That last one looks real nice without a big dip at the beginning.  :2vrolijk_21:

So your brother has a 116/120 bike and you jump him could be the cam that allows you to do that.   Then from there its the pretty even as you say then in the big end the CC's take over post the 100 mph mark.

Again as long as you are happy that is what matters , but if you paid for headwork and 117 and your getting just 1:1 to me that is not a winning situation.   Your brother's dynosheet is in STD not SAE. So the numbers reflected are a tad higher than SAE.

Also look if you look at the percentage divide 116/107 you get roughly 1.08 vs 1.0.   I also doubt you brother has the big valves in his heads which could attribute to the top end.  10 cubes and pretty much stays with you other than a jump.

If the numbers are accurate great if not then value to dollar and headwork etcetera is less than desired IMO.

It's a simple call to ask for the run file from you final dyno and what version of winpep and go from there.    117 over 107 saying he stayed with you and 10 cubes less

Wrong no but misleading possibly as an advertisement.   it's a depiction but answer the question of which version of software and dyno and that will tell some of the accuracy of the numbers.

Till that is answered it is anyone's guess.

I'd find out first what your comparing so it means something

Consider trying ken at black hills custom parts for the dyno compare.

What does it matter as long as the dyno has the newer software winnp 7/8 right.I am not going all the way to jersey for a couple of pulls on a dyno.

Nope really doesnt matter provided you get all the correction factors on the sheet and SAE, he is just a well known dyno guy, is on the forums and one where you could go.   What will be equally interesting is the data from Rosa's on what level of software and dyno they are using.

SUGGESTION:  I would contact Andrew and let him know what your concerns are with the Dyno run he did. I'll guarantee you he'll let you know that your current run is accurate and if you'll be wasting your hard earned money doing another Dyno run elsewhere.

Regards

I still don't see reason to do 117'' , looking on all numbers ppl got. Happy with my 110'' with cams , domes pistons, exhaust and dyno... much cheaper... go figure.
