Decision Made on SE120R
« on: April 29, 2016, 04:36:34 PM »

So after researching and talking to several people about upgrading, I decided to go with the Crate SE120R. With a HPI 58mm TB and Rush Wrath's 2 to 1 with a 3" baffle. So now I just need to sell my 110". Wish me luck, please!

Yeah, I'm pumped. I ordered the engine from Rebecca @ Tri County Harley, good people. Should have it by mid week, sent out my old throttle body to Horse Power Inc. Dyno after all that.

Why the 3" baffle? I could be wrong but I thought the 2.50 baffle performed just as well as the 3 only quieter.

S&S 124" would be a much better choice

I just prefer the sound of the three better. Just my opinion.

Update:1 of 2
Ordered the 120R from Rebecca @ Tri-County Harley on Wednesday and received it on Monday. We sent out my old TB to HPI on Monday hope to have it back by Friday. Then send it to the dyno. Hopefully have it back by mid week. Here are a couple of pictures from yesterday.

Looking good!

Didn't realize that the "R" was still available to the public.

Can't wait to SE your results and thoughts.

It's actually pretty good value - the 120R.

Yes, after looking into upgrading this seemed to be the most cost effective for the ponies. This is what the catalog showed, I think it'll be more around 130/130
