Motor Compression issues????
« Reply #15 on: May 08, 2016, 11:43:40 AM »

You have issues that will be solved at 113" with the right pistons.
Exactly this. The trip7 is a good cam and at 10.5+ it makes good bottom end. It will not be the tractor puller that the 255 is below 2k, but it will be very very close....and it will have the added bonus of feeling MUCH better at three grand and up. It will actually breathe well *above* 4500, but of course, nobody goes there. :whistling:
If you're truly only going for low rpm grunt, there's not much point in head porting, however, at least get them CC'd and milled to match.

Should I unplug the compression buttons? To check the compression

Unplug them, pull the fuse, or turn them off with tuner device.  They have to be taken out of equation.  Same for leak down test.

Finally did the compression test both cylinders came back at 150, with the compression releases unplugged, did a leak down test and both stayed in the green 20% , so no leakage. Appears that it goes back to the Wiseco pistons not being domed.
Looks like I need to tear down, send heads and jugs out , cnc heads/valve job, and have heads bored to 113" w/ new domed pistons for 10.5:1 compression. CORRECT??????

Yes, that's correct.
As was stated, with the CVO heads (at 95cc) flattops won't get you to 10.5+ and that's where you need to be for that cam.
You *COULD* just get stock bore domed pistons, but you'd still need the jugs honed. For just a few bucks more you might as well have them bored because the piston cost is the same.

You know, there IS one other likely easier/cheaper route.

You just swap your heads for reworked 103" heads that are nominally 85cc. And you'd have right at 10.8 static. They can be painted granite and set up for your flattops.
Two birds/one stone method. Some porters insist the 103s are superior heads for porting, anyway.

Check with your builder about this option.
