Best Head Pipe for this build
« on: May 15, 2016, 01:16:54 PM »

Hi All Enthusiast's
Just asking..

Almost finished  my CVO FLHTCUSE7 build, S&S 124" with S&S " crank and Feuling 594 cams, Barnett Scorpion Lock up clutch with Barnett billet clutch basket, CVO heads ported(MVA style), 58mm throttle body with 6.2g/s injectors.  My question is: Head pipes and good one for 124" build.
I do have Fullsac DX  and FuelMoto E series mufflers my previous build.
Comments for Fuel Moto Jackpot 2/1/2 XXX Hi-Output Stainless Steel Head Pipe, Fullsac DX, Vance&Hines Power duals. How about Slip Ons? Crusher? Fuel Moto E series or Jackpot HI Roller mufflers, or something else?
Thanks in Advance

If it was me I'd use what you already have. The head pipe is good and the e series mufflers are some the best there is. Just find a tuner that will tune the exhaust also.

If that's the case then what are they suggesting?... seems they would know best how you ride and what you are expecting from your mods. :nixweiss:

Well, what we're thought head pipe diameter should be over 2".

He/they suggest any pipes that would provide that? :nixweiss:

Fuel Moto Hi-Out Put 2.5" Head Pipes, what we thought. I guess it's better start what we already have.

Then that would be my first choice (or at least high on the list). :2vrolijk_21:

I have the FM head pipe on both of my Harleys.

I have the triple x head pipe and full sized cross over pipe on my 124. Nice construction and as a side benefit it extremely light.

My CVO RK has a FM standard head pipe, same as above but the cross over is stock.

Both FM pipes have 1 3/4 primarys.

Crusher Mellows work well for these bigger builds.

You have a nice set up as is, might want to hang on to it.

I am using the mega shots on my bike
had Steve at GMR install and tune they have a nice sound very similar to buddy's crusher mellow
also had them coated Steve sent them away not sure where very nice  heat reduction on your leg
{if you look on GMR face book page from a year or so back he has a picture of header beside a V&H header}
I like the sound and the looks
