Search Not Going Well, Need Help...
« on: October 06, 2016, 08:17:50 AM »

I remember Steve, Fullsac, posted a year to two ago about installing a "24" cam into a 110" with pipes and cores.  As I remember it did better on the top end, but also picked up some more low end.  I remember posting in the thread.

I've searched for the post with his dyno tune chart, but cannot find it.

Anyone remember the thread and can help in finding the thread?

Thanks for the help.

I seem to remember the one you're talking about, but don't know how to help find it--but I think it might also be on Fullsac's Facebook page, and it would be a lot easier to find it there.  HTH

I just sent Steve an e-mail.  Hopefully he can repost the dyno chart.  It may be relevant now again.

I find a thread where Steve said he hasn't tried the 24 but no post from you in that thread.  That's the only thread I can find where Steve talks about the 24, using the search feature.  However, several threads where he talks about the 54.

Yeah I don't recall Steve from Fullsac talking much about the Kury cams.

Maybe you are thinking of a thread by Steve at GMR? He posted lots of charts with the Kury 24's.

Hey, where has he been lately?

Are you looking for something specific?  I have done the 24 in a 110 bolt in with FS exhaust for a couple of members.  I have also used that cam in 110 with headwork and TB.

Thanks again to all that's helped here.

At my age I "may" have remembered the number incorrectly, but even if I did, the posts you guys have found are very good and may help my thought process.

As I mentioned prior, I did give Steve and e-mail shout and told him it was not a must need to know now situation.  So sometime in the near future I'll be hearing from Steve with his thoughts.

Thanks again guys...  :2vrolijk_21:  :2vrolijk_21:  :2vrolijk_21:

Dan, I has the Kury 24 in my'11 CVo, very happy with the way it ran. Kept most everything on the bottom and it pulled like a freigh train ,right up to the chip. Had an opportunity to shave the heads to 89cc  while the heads were off but not necessary to realize nice gains. Think mine made 105, no real head work, jut shaved.Know several guys here that run teh Kury 24. CVO Stu comes to mind , think he had John Sachs do his heads , think he was pretty pleased..

Texas thanks for the information.

As I said, I may have been wrong on my cam number, but I was sure it was a 24 something.  What I remember about the dyno chart was that it pulled really good mid to upper, but also had "some" lower end increases.

Just google up Kuryakyn Wild Things 24-D cams in a 110, should have a ton of 'em
