103, yeah they do swing up to "close" very neatly.  If you notice in the first two photos there is a screw at the bottom left of the peg.  That's the pivot point for the stirrup.  In the first photo you might be able to see that the peg has a chromed outer edge.  That outer edge is actually the leg of the stirrup.  In the second photo the chromed outer/lower edge of the peg is gone as the stirrup is folded down.

Like was pointed out above.  I have seen them on a couple of Wings.  But pegs are a pretty universal item.  And they make for as neat an install as I could come up with while also serving the more important role of doing what I wanted foot and comfort wise.

I hadn't noticed, so I guess I better start paying closer attention to Goldwings . . . . . NOT!

Twolane, Thanks so much for showing the pics.I was wanting to see them on one of our scooters. I was sold on the incredible range of adjustment on these mounts and looked like it would solve the rubbing problem on the lowers with your boot. And the versatility of the switchblade footpegs would bring a better amount of places to position your feet. Just wish foot pegs had narrower rubber stips to match floorboards, but their not that bad. Thanks again! [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Here is a picture of my set up. In Southern California we do not know what the lowers are for so I took them off [smiley=laugh.gif]. I have the Billet mounting kit and the chrome and rubber foot pegs. Easy to adjust and fits my frame just right.

If you look close you will see the invisishield on the lower. So far it has protected it well.

DW, I am probably going with Kurakyn's set up and as you can see in Twolaners pics I probably will not need it ( invisishield ) here. I am going to get wind deflectors and was told to use it there. Does anyone know where do you buy this stuff? Thanks

What is invisashield?  Is that the plastic wrap that goes over the paint?

Invisisheild or any number of other brands is just a clear plastic sheet of protectant that can be cut to about any shape to "protect" the paint. It is put on wet (both side, inner "sticky"side and outer (to keep you from scratching it). You use a small squeege and it will conform to about any shape you are willing to force it around. It can be bought at about any sign shop or a Trim Line stripe shop. Not cheap, lasts forever and does not yellow. Can be waxed, treated like paint and removed (have to be careful and use liquid as you peel). Great product and can blend into the color totally if correctly applied, or show up like a sore thumb if not installed correctly. I always assume if I am capable of installing something correctly, then anyone can.

Thanks DW!  That's what I was guessing that it is.

Here is what I used on mine. The foot pegs are HD #50133-95 and the highway peg mounts are; 50924-03 (short angled)

And here's how they look closed.  Note how the shape of the footpeg follows the contour of the fairing.

mobe, that looks great!  It must've taken you a month of Sundays to get the gap between the peg and lower so perfect, lol!  I just have the "regular" highway peg mounting hardware and need something that will move the pegs farther out from the lowers on my '04.  These short-angled jobbies may be just the ticket! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Now, tell us, what are the wide whitewalls and dog dish hubcaps attached to (see reflection in air cleaner on first pic)?

That is (was), my grandfathers 1946 Chevy Pickup truck, bought from his neighbor, (who owned a beer distributorship), in 1948. It was used for 2 years and was painted the colors that it is now when it was brand new. (Blue overall, black fenders, red cab stripe). I think all 1946 Chevy trucks were painted Brewster green from the factory.

This one has been to bed for a long time but.....................

Need a few pics and part numbers of highway pegs on SEEG's with lowers on. Need to get a set for Spoiled but can't find the part number of the ones on her FLHX.

I think they are Kuryakyn #4526. They fold up closely to the lowers.
