rmarion,

I'll ride with either the stock seat or the one you're seeing there. I honestly can't remember whether it's a badlander or a Sidekick. The only probelem at all is the quick attach backrest seems a little low with the stock seat. I've gotta to push down rather hard to snap it in whenever the stock seat is on. Not a big deal actually.

I unhooked the CB. I never use it, nor plan to. It's not lowered. It may look like it because of the seat. It sits lower.

HB

1. What is your plan, when you need to mount the TP for long trip. Will you hook up rear speakers or go with out.

2. How is your antenna placement, w/o the tourpak?

Thanks

I had the radio antennae mounted underneath the fairing. Since I disconnected the CB totally, there are no antennaes to mess with. When mounting the TP I:

1) Remove the seat
2) Mount the bracket for the rider backrest
3) Quik attach the TP
4) Remove the liner from the TP and thread the wire through for TP light, Electric locks etc. They all have plugs
5) Plug in the speakers. The connectors are all crammed inside the speaker box. There are four connectors.
6) Plug in the electric seat
7) Mount the touring seat
8) Mount the riders backrest.
