Elvis,

Roger is at Daytona Harley Davidson if your planning on using him I would give him a call now and see if he can get you in to do this, or if they are even going to do this during bike week.   There are a lot of booths very nearby to where the dyno is so be sure to check with him and get an appointment.  He is an old racer and very good with the dyno.

Sounds good, so the freedom pipes need a little mod to the brake pedal and have some other goodies done to them to make them somewhat better than the stock BUB's. The stock Bub's are now coming with some sort of spacer for the footboard that's making them fit ok.

The brake pedal issue is only with the billet pedal, which we all have. The stock pedal works just fine.

Isn't the billet pedal the one that comes stock from the factory, and if the Freedom pipes come with the spacers why would there be any problems with the mounting.  Trying to get this all straight.  LMK

A good dyno guy is the only way to go to tune the bike right.  Popping sound like to much fuel.

WHY MEASURE AIR / FUEL RATIO?
For many years engine builders and tuners relied on reading spark plugs to determine proper jetting. Then along came data acquisition and they started using EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temperature) for additional information on how the engine was running. Many still rely on EGT.

I have a couple of questions about Freedom Pipes.  My current bike is an '04 Road King with a stage II Harley 95" build including 203 cams, PCIII USB and Rineharts.  When I changed to the 2 inch baffles I had to make modifications to the map.  I'm somewhat comfortable with the Rineharts and PC, hence my interest in the Freedom set-up.  My '05 SEEG shipped Monday Feb.14 (so they say) and should be here within a week or 10 days.

I've only seen one dyno chart for the Freedom setup, Magoo's.  Has anyone else who installed the Freedom pipes and baffle posted a dyno chart?  I know that Loose_Goose had his bike run and got smaller numbers.  Loose, are you satisfied with the way your bike runs?

Can anyone who has the Freedom pipes recall whether the shop inquired as to what HD chip was currently downloaded in your bike.  I understand the PC modifies the current map downloaded into ECU and presumably Freedom's custom map would differ depending on what download was in the bike.

Does Freedom recommend futher dyno tuning to tweak the map they provide?  It seems to me it ought to be fairly close.

Speaking of tweaking, I don't tweak well.  I break more often than not.  I thought I saw a curved brake pedal somewhere on this site.  Is that the Kuryakan pedal that allows the pipes to be fitted without creasing the pipe and heatshield?
