OK here's the deal!
Originally on the SEEG I put some Samson 29" tapered mufflers.
You could look in one end and see out the other.
Knowing that the 103 needed to breath, I felt that these pipes would be fine.
I already had these pipes so I figured why not.
I also had a DFO Tech Illusions fuel controller that I installed. The bike ran better
than stock, but not that much better.
Over the next few months I talked to, asked everyone I came into contact with about what is the best combination. Bet I got at least 200 different combinations. All of them great, but none with dyno and personal experience feedback.
After reading the dyno and Freedom threads many many times I decided to call Brad and Mark at Freedom Cycles. Their professionalism and experience made up my mind to go with their package. Based on discussions with others on this site I felt that the Freedom package was my best option.
I had the Power Commander (preprogramed) and the Freedom pipes shipped to me.
I installed the items last week and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I expect everything I have to be ALL it can be and with this package the SEEG has become a very awesome bike. I have only praise for this combination.
I can and will highly recommend this package to anyone looking to keep the motor stock but wanting more USABLE power.
I havn't been a fan of the rinehart pipes in the past due to the low end losses. With the changes to the pipes made by Mark and Brad I do believe the Freedom pipes are as good as you can get. I even left the Freedom logo turned up on the end caps so there can be no confusion as to the pipes origin.
Also Mark and Brad "DO" know how to make horsepower. The pipes are not my last purchase from them.
And no,,, there will be NO dyno runs until I can get up to Tilleys.
Not sure when that will be, way to busy riding and having fun!
