So sorry for not recognizing the full status.  My bad.

Well TA Howie, that's not quite as exciting as the engine work and its process.  But it's exciting nonetheless.  I think that's going to be a huge improvement in the overall looks of the bike.  That you'll have a lot more space to use is even better  :2vrolijk_21: .

Don't forget, I'll I'll have 2 different bikes that way. The Stock Version and the Touring Version! Two different looks and not just the saddlebags! And I think I'll call her Cybil! ;)

TA Howie, had thought about just exactly that.  That convertible factor is very nice too.  The red bike lets me do that with the King Pak Family Trukster mode, the chopped pak for a little smoother look, or no pak at all with either the tan or the black seat.  I think you'll enjoy being able to switch it around a bit.  Have to screw with the top bag brackets.  But that's no big deal.

Wow, get those damn bags right away...Check your local area custom painters or ask a the chopper shops tha do one-off builds, they usually have some local. Most are pretty talented. If you find a local guy you can bring the bike down so they can see it and talk it over...I usually never ask "how much" or "how long" because it is an art form.  I paid around 1500 but also had a fairing leafed, striped, painted and spoilers attached too. Good luck and if you can't find anyone, my guy could do it down here in SoFlo., just wrapping and shipping would add to it.

Thanks, i have  few people up here but do not know them very well. i thought it might be nice to use someone that has done it before or has the paint a ready matched. Thanks for the help. Will have to start saving for the paint. All though it seems much harder to save since I bought Harley's.  Billy

Topless to the beach mode.  Takes about two mintes to pop it off, and the fairing too!  Woo woo!

Yes....You just have to adjust the brackets but it's easy.

Good! I've adjusted the brackets with the bags I have now, the Front of one bag was slightly touching the side cover, so that's no big deal. I see you added lights to you bags, looks good.
