Hey Ghost Rider - I take it you have the Razor Red SERK....
I'd like to see some pics of your hard bags. I'm going to have Gene do mine over the winter but I'd like to know how close a match to the OEM paint he comes up with.

Hey Greg,

Unfortunalty my post was only meant to yank Howie's chain.  Gene is not doing any hard bags for me...yet.  I am waiting to see how some of the others turn out.  I thought Howie mentioned it at one time that Gene has color matched, or can color match the razor red.  A quick call to Gene could confirm it.

If you have a look in the "Fat Book" you can get them either in standard width or 2.5" wider than standard. They come in grey primer so you can do what you want with them. Ain't cheap though. Your local HD Dealer should have a copy of the "Fat Book".

There is a local guy here that has a business selling new and used HD parts.  I know he has some because I was going to buy mine from him. I ended up buying them from my painter instead, just because it was more convenient.

Good lookin' bags. How close did you paint guy come to actually matching the OEM SERK paint??
Mine is the Razor Red - I'd like to talk to him about matching that color.

I'm seeing a bloke on my return from holiday, if he's any good I'l let you know.  If he isn't I'll probably go with the black look to match the bags etc.
