It's no use to me, Peter - doesn't support TPMS, and has no audio cable to connect to my bike, so I'll be sticking with my 590 upgraded with 595 firmware.
What does the 595 firmware upgrade give you that the 590 doesn’t already have?  How do you upgrade. Thanks

Dealer Principal of my local Dealership has confirmed that the Boombox GTS does not have free map updates for our CVOs. Ah well.

Motor company ended that extra a couple model years ago.

Quite a lot of improved features in the 595 over the 590.  I upgraded mine to the 595 firmware a couple of years back.
- Spotify support
- Garmin Adventurous Routing (with 3 slides to adjust preferences)
- Live tracking
- Better Whereto Menu
- Fatigue Warnings
- Advance Audible Rider Alerts (Animal and Railroad crossings, Schools, Curves, Slow Traffic and Speed Limit Reduction/Exceeded)
- Exchanging routes to zumo using Garmin Smartphone Link App (uses Bluetooth).

Instructions here: http://forum.gps-expert.nl/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1540 (no cost involved!)

And a useful free forum for all Garmin users: https://www.zumouserforums.co.uk

A little off topic but it is my belief that integrated navigation on vehicles (cars/bikes) will be obsolete before long. Now that most new cars (and now motorcycles) have Android Auto & Car Play capabilities the need for integrated navigation isn't needed. When the mapping software on the phone is free and can be displayed on the infotainment center of vehicles who's going to pay for map updates. :nixweiss:

Agreed. GPS on bike or car:

Find place of interest-"Near your or different location"-Near me, "What is place of interest?"-Home Depot-"Train Depot?"-No, Home Depot-"Searching for "Train Depot, sorry, no results found near you"

Android Auto or Apple Carplay- Hey Google, find Home depot near me-"Found 5 closes, which one shall I guide you to"

LMAO
