You all have already told everyone of the benefits of this mod. So the only thing I'll add is YOU"RE OUT OF YOUR FREAKING MINDS IF YOU DON'T DO THIS MOD!!!!! It's that simple! The squishing you hear is the fork oil passing thru the valves in the cartridge. It'sd supposed to do that. If you haven't heard it, you haven't pushed them hard enough. Traxxion told me about this before I left there. I noticed the difference immediately after pulling away. I cracked the throttle WFO in 1st with the OL on the back and then grabbed a handful of front brake. That's all it took to see the difference. The rest as we say, is history. I'll never own another FL again without it! This is probably the best mod you can do for safety and handling! Hoist!

I shot Dan an e-mail to check on the progress.

Brian...you got any trips planned soon?  After Chuck tests the shocks for them, depending on the outcome of that test run, Dan will have to place another order...I think he only ordered two sets, one for an Ultra and one for my Vrod, both for testing purposes.  I'm confident they will be excellent, but want to be certain before any recommendations are made.

I do have one underlying concern for the CUSE₂'s, and that is the saddlebag lock wiring is right in front of the shock currently, right where the resevoir will probably be. It's already tough to get my big 'ol hands in there to pinch the connector loose. I'm thinking it will be next to impossible to access the connector if there is a shock resevoir there too.

Just heard from Dan...shocks have cleared Customs in Louisville, so should arrive tomorrow.

Chief...guess we'll see if it'll work on the 07.  Shouldn't take but about 5 minutes to see if it'll work.  If not, we'll get Tbone or FW to check them out.

They'll fit, so I still plan on being a guinea pig, just tossing out a possible kink.

It would be easy enough to rewire / reroute the saddlebag lock wiring to make room. Even without the shocks, the location of the plugs is bad and should be addressed.

We're leaving 6AM Thursday for the DC ride, so doing anything now to the bike any more aggressive than packing and wiping on some bug release agent (wax) is a no go.

Next Wednesday would be my first chance.

Unfortunately, Chip, Dan only ordered one set for an Ultra and one set for my V...the other 50 sets are for sport bikes and a Vmax.  They've got most of them sold already.

You might need to have something designed for that rear end on your bike.  Is it still wiggling around on you?
