Unfortunately, Chip, Dan only ordered one set for an Ultra and one set for my V...the other 50 sets are for sport bikes and a Vmax.  They've got most of them sold already.

You might need to have something designed for that rear end on your bike.  Is it still wiggling around on you?

It's no where as bad as original.
Actually one of the best fixes came from Don and I'm still working thru the bugs with his suggestion.
Nancy and I were doubled up on HWY 31 down at the beach running around 110 and it was stable.
Eventually I will wind up at T/D for the final fixes.
I am just totally amazed how much backflow/backdraft on that fairing can affect handling.
At the beach I went from the 6" windshield to the 9 and could really tell a difference.

Hey TC, if those shocks were accidentally misplaced on to your luggage rack and mysteriously made their way on a brown truck to Missouri it'd be ok; wouldn't it?

Hmmmmm. Me thinks someone may be trying to cut into my guinea pig action.

No doubt about it, Chip.  The T/D setup helps quite a bit there, IMO.  Still get a shake when passing logging trucks on the road, but it's 100% better than before, and settles down faster.  It helps a lot when the front wheel stays on the ground and you don't drift over 3 or 4 feet because of wheel hop.

My mortar work is of a landscaping or occasionally ballistic variety.  Turning twolane loose on the outside of Mahuta's house would be a good way to get Chuck in trouble.  On the other hand, I work for beer  :2vrolijk_21: .

I shot Dan an e-mail to check on the progress.

Brian...you got any trips planned soon?  After Chuck tests the shocks for them, depending on the outcome of that test run, Dan will have to place another order...I think he only ordered two sets, one for an Ultra and one for my Vrod, both for testing purposes.  I'm confident they will be excellent, but want to be certain before any recommendations are made.

There's so many dayum Brian's on here, I'm not sure if you're talking to me or not. :nixweiss: :huepfenlol2:

If you are, I am planning on doing the fork upgrade this fall sometime.  I thought we'd be farther along on the rear shock deal right now to where I might be able to slap the Bitubos on in place of the leaky left-side Progressive 440 I have (they are plug and play, right?).  If not, I'm so busy with moving and transitioning to a new job, that I could probably get the 440 sent back for re-work and not miss too much riding.  Just wondering where Traxxion is with the Bitubos so I can plan what to do next.  Thanks for any info. you can provide.

103...yea, I was talking to you.  I'm going over on the 4th of June to get the shocks and forks for the Vrod.  Hopefully, Chief will get his shocks installed next week.  It's all supposed to be plug and play.  I didn't know how much riding you would get to do with doing the move and all...guess the 440 rebuild would not be much out of pocket expense, so it would get you by until we know more about thest Bitubo's.   :nixweiss:

Oh, so here you go on another angle to get my shocks, call Traxxion and buy them before I get there. Well buddy boy, BRING IT ON!!!!!     :o

Only having some fun here. I remember TC saying something like 7 or 8 clams, but less than one oyster.

Thanks Chuck.  Remembered TC suggesting a likely price range somewhere.  Just didn't remember what it was.

The thought passing through my head at the moment was of a frugal nature.  Being quite satisfied with the performance of the 440 IAS units I'm wondering how much "better" (and in what ways) these would have to be to justify the cost difference.  Especially if it is redundant to a set of 440s already on the ground.

I agree totally. I too am happy with them. I do like the idea of the tuning capability. That means I can take a perfectly good shock and make it totally useless in very short order.

That thought had passed my mind too.  Being unfamiliar with the products it might be surprisingly easy to detune rather than to tune the suspension with such an array of adjustability.  I really don't mind not being the guinea pig this time.
