I did pretty much the same, using a different pouch for my satellite radio/ipod. I used an FM modulator that mounted under the fairing that connects between my antenna lead and the factory radio. When it senses an input from the satellite receiver, or ipod, whichever I decide to use it actually disconnects the antenna from the radio so there is no interference on the frequency that the modulator is transmitting on. I ran the audio cable, satellite antenna lead, and power cable for the ipod/satellite receiver from the fm modulator up between the outer and inner fairing under the pouch and up through a small hole I made in the bottom of the pouch. It seems to work real well and the satellite antenna is mounted under the outer fairing on top of the factory radio. As you can see it even picks up in my garage.
