Boy, I don't know John.  None of them really look spatially proportionate.  Too big in one area or too long in another relative to what's going on around them.

Don, that is why I posted this. Some of the feature were just what I was looking for, other did not seem to fit right. The rear end that started me thinking ( alas a sad day when the back of a bike can get you excited!) was the pix below. Liked the extended bags, the street glide tail, but the saddle bag fillers need to follow the curve of the fender and cover the inside view the pipes.  john

Thanks. I checked out there website. Prices seem reasonable ($475 for fender and extensions) but I didn't realize that these (this particular brand) fits over the stock fender with drilling required. I had thought it was a replacement for the fender. Would have to consider getting a cheap fender from somewhere along w/saddlebag bottoms to attach extensions to in order to keeps stock parts. This could end up becoming a couple grand project after acquiring all the extra parts and having them painted, but definitely give a bike a more custom look.

that definitely is one wide fender! Love what it is attached too, but trying to be more cost effective than another $40K for whole bike attached to fender although if I did that the $40k would be the least of my problems after my wife's attorney got done with me

That is a handy thing about this site.  You know if you start something like this thread others will have various further alternatives to flesh out the options.

I find myself agreeing strongly that some details of the various options really strike my fancy.  None seem to pull it off completely though.  And for such a dramatic change you want it it to be a home run.

Here's something sad though.  You know a guy has spent maybe a mile too many on the road during some part of his life when he sees those deep saddlebags and his (ok, my) very first thought was, "damn, wonder how much more stuff I could carry in those?"

I have seen a lot of Milwaukee bagger mods on bikes and they do some top notch work. Klock Werks not bad either just a little different taste. If I had an extra $4-6k two throw around I would do MB.
