A bit of update:
1) I really like the Klock Werks (13.5”) windscreen. It works very well
There a bit of vibration/shake around 35-40 mph, but nothing bothersome.
2) I’ve added the Mustang 2-piece seat (orange stitching) with rider backrest
Seems to set a bit further from the tank, and the backrest is SO much better.
3) Started getting both a “check engine code” as well as the “warning light”
(triangle with an “!” In it), so took it to the dealer…. 18 days ago!
They can’t seem to sort-out the problem(s). Have tried to re-map the system(s),
without success, I’m told. Tomorrow (after over two weeks,) the dealer technicians
are going to “perform a remote in diagnostic with factory Harley mechanics”.
While I’m pleased they’re FINALLY going to take this step - I’m VERY frustrated that
it’s taken OVER TWO WEEKS for Milwaukee to get this involved!
If my less than 3-months old, $50k motorcycle, isn’t responding to diagnostic procedures,
I’d think they’d be replacing ECU, BCU, battery - SOMETHING…ANYTHING!
And, I’d think the Motor Company could do more than “remote diagnostics” - like maybe
get a “real, live HD Service Rep” on-site - so they can learn what’s causing these issues!
It’s going-on THREE WEEKS (of absolutely beautiful Colorado Autumn riding weather)
and there’s been ZERO PROGRESS and ZERO PROSPECTS!
