So lets get back to the topic.TCnBham posted some revo powered renderings and heres some photos of a custom st-rod glide lol
Ok,
Stop and think about this. H-D made some moderate changes to the Twin-Cam platform in 06 and then went ALL IN in 07 with something like 240 changes. Do you really think they're going to drop all that money on the table and walk away from it in one year. Uh uh They have gone to a 110 that while it's a dog by our standards makes good 50 state legal power. You will see the 103 motor become standard on production models soon, followed by the 110 later on. You won't see a V-Rod in any other form that the current styles for many years to come. We are a progressive bunch, those of us on this website, we are not stuck in the past mourning the loss of the knucklehead, panhead, shovelhead and evo, But the core of H-D's customers is not us sorry to say. It's folks that like to buy a bike and not have it yesterday's news the following year. I know people with 05 and 06 UC's that are livid at the 07's having 96" and a 6-speed. No, I'm sorry to say, it'll be 2012 or later before you see a water cooled H-D touring bike. NOT TO SAY, someone couldn't take TC's concept bikes and have them custom made. I mean look at our own Silver-Black (Chip) If anyone is responsible for TMCC building a custom bagger beyond their employees, I'd say Chip is. Look at Cycle Visions. They've been building V-Rod baggers for several years. I don't see folks knocking down their door wanting them. So don't pin your hopes on anything other than a continuation of what we've seen. Maybe a CVO FLHX, more than likely a SERG2 Sorry to rain on anyone's parade, but the MoCo is a very institutional company, very hidebound. Don't expect anything radical.
