As far as i know it first appeared in HD Forums when they first added their CVO topic.Than the guy who first said it probably moved here.If you are really interested go there and look in topics.I am too lzazy now to go back and check lol.But i also really wondred that and there was an earlier mention over there.I wish we came up with it first. :drink:

believe it or not,,,,,   when we toured the cvo factory last weekend,,, we did see boxes of parts with the name JESTER printed on them.  and I don't mean hand printed.

That is very funny.  I don't know who started it here but it was in use here within a day or so of the first pictures being released.  A few prospective Jester owners even too exception to it.  But it stuck.  Now, it seems, Harley stole it from someone  :) .

Near as I can tell this is the earliest reference on the site.  I even remember "thinking" it earlier in this thread when Marty had send the pictures that started the thread.  But hadn't written cause I thought it wouldn't stick.  Then in post #13 one of our own hung the name on the bikes and it's been there ever since.

No doubt others saw it and had the same thought independently.  It is a pretty obvious nickname for those bikes.  But for our own purposes it seems perfectly appropriate that we take all the credit in the world, charge tolls for use, etc etc etc.

  Thank's HOIST I do not know who he is or what he was talking about, I know I did mention yesterday about hoping they would bring back the scremin eagle FAT BOY for 08, I just may sell or trade for one if price is right, and then I saw where they where talking about $45,000.00 Touring bike that is way out of my price range, also I live in big city so need a bike I can bob and weave on the traffic is allway's bumper to bumper. Maybe make one that you do not need to use a SERT or PC111 if you change pipe's or air filter.

I think Harley-Davidson is going to introduce the first true " Green " motorcycle. They're going to call it the " Howie-Glide"  It is truly an ecological marvel as it runs on hot air
