Replace again?
« on: Yesterday at 07:20:02 PM »

Had my lifters replaced at 19k miles with fueling hp. The independent that did the replacement gave me the stock lifters back and showed me there was very little to no wear on them. By the end of next season will be around 19k-20k on the lifters. The bike makes no noise as far as the lifters. Should I have them replaced again? The unfortunate thing is my independent retired a few years ago and haven’t found a suitable replacement. Don’t wanna pay a harley dealer to do it and not sure if I feel comfortable doing it myself, what say all you smart guys on the forum?

Thanks Kevin

Did your Indy use adjustable pushrods or remove the rocker boxes?  It’s not all that difficult to replace the lifters either way, just a little time consuming.
