Chief,
Where is this from ? I haven't seen anything official around any of the local dealerships. I'm up in the NW so maybe get by one in Seattle or Portland these next weeks.

The first I saw of it was over on the TC88 Yahoo Group. I thought they were all wet. Maybe not.

Maybe they need to make room for all the new water cooled models. :nixweiss:

Goes along with what someone posted regarding a MoCo rep being at their HOG meeting and saying the same thing.

Found it, blowncobra posted the info here:  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=12510.0

That was our early speculation in the other thread.  This seems to make it more accurate.

I'll email a large dealer I know that always seems to be in the know.

I first saw this on the TC88 Yahoo group a week or so ago, and put it off as an April Fools joke. It seemed awful early for the MoCo to be showing its hand.

Maybe it's really true. Lots of rumors floating around about new Revolution based models. I guess we'll for sure in July.

Revolution, as in water cooled big bikes?  Imagine an Ultra with 120 plus HP.

I saw the memo straight from Harley. My dealer said that since the Street Glide hit the market it has killed the sales in other bikes.

I would suggest that you run out and get one of each- put'em in a barn and leave them for 50 years and they will be worthless,  Why? No fuel to run them on as we will all be using green fuel by then. I may half to go to a trike by that times as I will be 108 years old. :)

Go out and buy a 5000 gallon fuel tank, bury it where no one cares or knows where it is and then you'll have your fuel to burn when you're 100.......................tell everyone to

I'm hearing it's related to a surplus of models. Here in DFW we have a dealer with a Dyna program. HD is selling them with a $179 a moth payment plan. That says a lot to me

That will take a lot of years to pay off at that rate!
