I don't have a lot to compare with, but for me, my corbin seat is fantastic as far as comfort goes.  Unfortuneately, my tan ostrich solo seat is now four-five years old and is starting to really show a lot of wear.  The colour of the seat has changed a lot, the piping leather has worn out completely where there is contact and so I am considering ordering a new one just because it does not look as good as I'd like it to.  If it were black, the problems I speak of would be invisable.  The feeling is still wonderful, just the look is starting to look less than perfect.  That is just the colour though.

Candy, the foam should still be good on your seat......you may want to consider just having Corbin recover it in the same or something different. :nixweiss:  Be a whole lot cheaper than a new seat.  Just a thought..........

Been thinking the same thoughts.  I really am begging them to make me a heated one, but they are not buying right now.  Of course, for a SEEG, not a current model and a solo seat to boot, but they keep teasing me.  I havn't lept yet, so maybe.  Also I am asking them to make the matching fender trim since black does not work on my bike.  Only time and money will tell.  right?   ;)

I don't have a lot to compare with, but for me, my Corbin seat is fantastic as far as comfort goes.  Unfortunately, my tan ostrich solo seat is now four-five years old and is starting to really show a lot of wear.  The colour of the seat has changed a lot, the piping leather has worn out completely where there is contact and so I am considering ordering a new one just because it does not look as good as I'd like it to.  If it were black, the problems I speak of would be invisible.  The feeling is still wonderful, just the look is starting to look less than perfect.  That is just the colour though.

Just the fact that Candy has worn out her seat speaks for itself.

I just got a "new old stock" heated Corbin rumble seat for the SEEG. I like the look and thought it would be a good choice. Turns out the "Road King" version is different from the CVO Glide, the CVO version has the nose of the seat cut to match the tank trim.

Although that is minor, it is not what stopped me from using it. The 05 SEEG has that "rack" in the back that prevent the seat from laying on the fender  :confused5:

Anyone looking for a Road King heated rumble seat?
