« on: April 25, 2007, 04:20:23 PM »

I suffered a paint chip along the very bottom edge of the rear fender, almost dead center,  under the license plate. any one with an idea of how to hide this with a trim or other idea? :help: i am a new member and very new cvo owner, look forward to many happy miles.
thanks , Bob

Unless it's massive I'd get the three part touch up kit from the dealer and go for it. I'm sure this ding won't be the last.

I just learned that there is the 3 part touch-up kit, so i will look into it, I do however, wonder if a little extra chrome is a bad thing , if some type is out there, that is if it's not too gawdy, and can stay with the CVO theme?

so I'm still open to suggestions.
thanks for the welcome and reply!

Welcome aboard LTbawb! So you got bit by the NYC potholes, huh? Duane, why do you think I don't run spoke wheels?! The potholes allow you to continue to practice quick manuevers and direction changes. You don't take your eye off the road here. You never know what wiil be in front of you at any given moment! Keeps you sharp! Good luck with your new ride. You've now christened it and can stop worrying about it at least. Enjoy the site LTb! Hoist! 8)

Yeah Howie, I know. But, as bad as the potholes are, that hunk of concrete that fell off one of the overpasses right next to us was un-nerving!
