I went by my dealer this lunchtime and could not find the pictured emblem on a "Deluxe"..  I bought part # 59063-04 emblem for a Road King Custom but it has no black on it and it has self adhesive tape on it.  Anybody know what emblem that Mobe has pictured???  Thanks in advance.
That looks like the emblem that came stock on my 2003 SERK, FLHRSEI2.  In my parts manual it is listed as "CLOISONNE, rear fender (chrome and black) part number 59423-03".  Enter that number at Surdyke.com and it comes back as $50.00 MSRP...they sell it for $40.00.

I believe the part they are speaking of is the all chrome piece around the lip of the fender. The one you are speaking of I believe is the chrome and black piece above it w/the "V" in it. :nixweiss:

For those that were following our little chat about the GP support, Jim (HD_Dude) split the thread and moved it here

The cloissone is what I was asking the part # of.  I already have the chrome lower trim that is in Mobe's picture.  I looked the situation over last night and the medallion I purchased does not fit in between the lisence plate and the chrome lower fender lip trim as nicely as the one shown in Mobe's pictures.

I did a search and found the thread by 2Lane on the big ugly thing on the back (can't remember his exact abbreviation for it).  Anyway, the black button under the lisence plate is not held on by the bolt under the fender brace but is just held on by adhesive and the rubber bumper on the back of the lisence plate bracket rubs against the black fender piece.

Also it looks like many have removed the lower part of the lisence plate bracket that the bottom of the plate sets in to get Mobe's look.

Bob, if  you're working bak there this is at least a consideration:

Overall it does a better job of hiding the SUBTOTBF if one still might have it.  There are lots of rear plate options there.  Some are very expensive too.  This one, if one were so inclined, is actually decent looking and relatively cheap (as these things go).

Hey Don, do you think that would work on the SERK with the Tombstone Tailight? What about the wider rear fender too? Hoist! 8)

Doubt it Howie.  The Street Glides and SEEGs have a couple of screw that attach the license plate housing to the light housing beneath the light.  Your tombstone housing won't have that.

Thanks for your input Don and the link.  In the Kuryakyn picture you can see the SUBTOTBF easily.   I have not removed the SUBTOTBF yet.  I'm glad I read your thread and didn't remove the nut from the brace as I thought it all held together.

When you remove the black SUBTOTBF on our bikes, what is underneath it?  Just fender or a flat bolt head for the fender brace?  In your topic on the SUBTOTBF, you showed a picture but it was from the old website and doesn't show up any more in the post.

The SUBTOTBF thread went for 9 pages, don't think this one will go that far.
