but every one that has been into my local dealership has had to have the rockerboxes clearanced.   The Moco has paid for all of clearancing under warranty.

If the MoCo know this surely they have now resolved the issues.  Is there anyway to contact the MoCo to get this information or would they deny the prblems exist anyway

Mine's gone too! So is Hogbreath's. Good excuse for rocker box clearancing, checking crank runout and new cams! Maybe some diamond cut heads and barrels? ::) Heads apart. Anyone know any good tricks with these heads? Bigger throttle body too! ::) Which one's best? Taking recommendations on the new top end! ;) Hoist! 8)

I just have my rear head replaced on my '06 CUSE.  6,600 miles.  It was just seeping a little oil from behind the plug.  Seeping out on to the head just enough to discolor the top of the head before drying up.  There was a flaw in the head.  Apparently when they drilled a hole for one of the bolts they drilled it too deep and it went through the head then seeped a little oil from around the bolt.  Oh well, it's fixed now with a shiney new head and running good.

Just noticed mine is doing the same thing. At least I know that there are others out there having the same problem.

Well, we've kind of got two issues in discussion here. One is the leaking '06, maybe from a cracked head and the other is the VERY common bad head gasket on the '07 along with the rocker box clearance issue.

Damn, I love my Hardly-a-Problem Davidson.

I am with Hoist, I have started gathering some parts to for the day when mine will have to go in for the head gaskets.  No time like then to make more power and hopefully reliable-er(is that a word).
Gotta have fun with it I guess!

That is a word with these engines tiger! Bulletproof is more what we need right now! ;) I think I'll do the cams and if they F me on the w.....ty after the engine grenades itself, time to split the cases and build a real bottom and top end! And it won't be with HD crap either! ;) Hoist! 8)

I am with you guys now, just noticed the seeping on my rear head gasket at just over 5K miles.  Now to find a good dealer here in North Carolina that will take care of me.
Oh OK, time for some CAMs, HaHa, I love it.

Hoist which ones should I get?  Any other ideas for this fine 110...?

Check the crank runout first. Then decide. I think that we need to call HD to task on the problems. It's really getting out of hand. I'm not convinced anymore that these motors will last past w.....ty! The bike runs great with the SE 251's and they're HD. They'll still F you on the w.....ty with them in. Tough call. We're kinda on our own here based on your comfort level. But the more I read and hear, I'm getting close to trading for an '05 124", Baker 6-speed, 200 rear, ABS brake Rucker Police Bike! Hoist! 8)
