Damn you all!

I just spent about a day driving to as many Best Buys I could in MI, OH, and NY looking for the $449.00 deal... no luck at any of them!

You guys must have got the last ones.

I saw the HD unit, it does not come with the mount and is $800... big shock... mount extra!

I did find lots of Tomtom Rider 2s around for about $650 but most of the bells and whistles are missing that the Zumo has!

look at the BB web page...that is how I found mine.  Then Miker (saint that he is) went to Boca and picked it up for me.

They are not listed on the US BB anymore, but it is on the Canadian one @ $899.

I'm going the Dood recommended route... I've found a website here that sells them for $700, but it's still more than $449!!!!

Thanks though.

Before buying anthing that is this cheap check them out on this site http://www.resellerratings.com/
Also most legit sites do not put the price on the home page to lure you by searching. I don't trust any of these sites and the topic has been discussed over and over on the Zumo Forums. You are much better off to stay with a known seller like Amazon for your own protection.
Search the Zumo forums site and you will get all the info you need when buying a new Zumo

For $429 I would worry about it being refurbished... problem for us Canadians is the duty from a US company.

I'm going to have to keep looking up here or drive across the border again!

Good Point. I have some Canadian friends as I lived near the U.S. border for years. I used to order stuff for them and they would come for a visit and pick up the small items. Don't know the laws on that but that was years ago. I was just across from Windsor.
You can always trust Amazon if you want a fair price and a trustworthy merchant
Good luck

You'll have to have one of the "TTS" (Text To Speech) voices selected in the Zumo unit and have the Zumo wired to your radio in order to hear any sounds (no speaker in the motorcycle cradle). With both of the above done, and your radio in the Aux position you will hear the "Turn By Turn" directions thru the speakers of the radio.

Does that mean that you will have to use the MP3 on the Zumo for music and have the Aux plugged in to hear both?

Is it safe to asssume that you won't hear FM in Aux and only the TTS?

Yes. If you want to hear music while awaiting "Turn By Turn" directions you will have to have your radio selected to "Aux". The Zumo will have control of the radio at that time, and you can either listen to MP3's or XM (if you have the GXM 30 and XM subscription) while you await "TBT" directions. When the "TBT" directions need to be given out your audio from MP3's or XM will be cut out long enough to hear the directions and then continue when directions are done.

You will not hear FM/AM/CD/Weather Band as long as you have it in the AUX position. Just like selecting any of the other positions the one you select has priority.

Nope the "TTS" voices are programmed into the Zumo. You just select which one of them you like to hear telling you you've made the wrong turn (at least that's what happens to me a lot). ;D
