I'm an idiot Spyder.  Have had XM for a long time.  Never read their junk mail.  So if this had ever been explained I'd missed it.  Didn't have a clue...

Guess what's playing now :2vrolijk_21: .
Ok, what's the 411 can you save/burn songs to MP3 format for free while connected to XM feed on computer?

The thing about it if I get it and get used to it/like it, then I'll want to use it in my truck also. For that reason of being able to move it back and forth I would live w/it sitting out in the open. Only thing I might change if possible and not to expensive would be to chrome the cyclegadgets mount if it isn't already. If it was chrome then it might not stick out as bad when sitting behind the Techmount. I have nothing to worry about now as I'm still not sold on it as something I "want" and nowhere near something I "need". :nixweiss:

Haven't got that far Gary. I was just happy to find out I could listen to the damn thing hear.  Before I knew I was already paying for something I was a tight-ass and used the free Yahoo music putting up with all the commercials because it could be forced to at least do my own playlist.

Ditto.  In fact feet propped up on it with the keyboard in my lap.  The site in one window and the tiniest bit of work in another window getting oh so little attention.  If the dog didn't want to go out it'd be a perfect moment....

Yes, this is it.  Harley also offers a mirror image bracket that could mount on the other side.  It's offered as being for the CB though of course it's still just a flat spot that anything could be set on.

That's not a bad option if you want to mount the hockey puck inside the fairing, and it's under $5.00. :shocked2:

Would you use this bracket instead of just slapping the antenna on top of the radio?  Reckon it would pick-up better off to the side?  The hockey puck antenna/receiver has a strong magnet that would hold it in place w/o any glue needed.  But would that affect the radio/cd player?  :nixweiss: spyder

Don
from the pic it looks like the brass insert for the windshield screw on the left side is pulling out.
Or it could be a photographic anomaly.
