As y'all can see, I usually don't pass up on a chance for ice cream. This is the famous Marcus Dairy. This used to be a real hoppin' place in the summer months. They used to have bike shows and car shows every weekend. Don't know if they still do?

There was some trouble there a few years back. Super Sunday was moved somewhere else, but still run by the owner of Marcus Dairy, Don, if I recall the name right. I think it's at Monticello Raceway now, but don't quote me on that. Hoist! 8)

After Danbury we headed back to the Montrose area (my hometown). This is the Croton Dam that holds the water supply for NYC. We rode around several of the reservoirs that this dam retains. It is a very impressive aquaduct system.

Super Sunday is run by Don Clady. It is my understanding he is not the Marcus Dairy owner. Or not from my discussion with him. Marcus dairy is hosting their own event again just on a smaller scale. Parking in the mall parking lot is what started the hoopla. Than I heard there were permit issues. Combine that with the rumors of violence and patch wearing clubs and your guess is as good as mine why it got moved and changed hands.

This last shot is the water flowing down stream.

We're loading the truck within the next hour and going to be on the way back to Beautiful Beaufort By The Bay. I'm going to take I81 down through PA for a nice easy (that's southern for slow Hoist) trip back. We'll probably hit a few dealers along the way. Hope y'all had a good weekend, I did!
