I've been working too much lately to be able to take road trips. But, occassionally I get a chance to ride to the job site. (100 mile round trip) Saturday before last, I'm cruising down the interstate about 85 MPH with the cruise control set. A slower moving vehicle is in the right lane and decided to take my lane just about the time the front fender of the bike was even with the rear bumper of his car. He was talking on the cell phone. To say it made me mad would be an understatement. Homie doesn't like playing bumper cars while on two wheels. The idiot had moved over to the left lane to pass another slow vehicle. I went to the right lane, dropped two gears and passed him on the right, letting him know he's number one in my book. I passed the car he was trying to pass before he did.
Has anyone else ever wanted to kick someone's car door as you pass them after a close call like this? I really wanted to,but, I didn't.
