Sometimes it's the little things that put a smile on your face. Sunday I was getting bored from sitting around watching TV. My lovely better half was cooking and baking, SO I straddled my bike and took a ride. I rode up to Kentucky Dam and down through Land Between the Lakes. There's a twisty little back road I took on the last leg home and got stuck behind two cars. Just as I was ready to pass, a huge tractor pulling a wagon almost as wide as the road pulled in front of the cars. OH great, he's taking the entire road and going all of 10 MPH. He slide over to one side leaving me about 3-4' and you know it, I twisted and passed the line of vehicles. Just as I did, another harley pulled out of a driveway about 1/2 mile ahead of me. Why not. Twist again and I rode his rear fender all the way to the next town. I saw him looking in his mirror like--WHO is this old gray headed idiot? After we eased through that little community he turned off onto another highway, my way home, and I saw him kick it hard. I was 5' behind him when he did and he sped up to 100 MPH. I was still 5' behind him. He slowed for a car, and I zoomed past him at about 110.

I don't normally ride that fast, BUT, I sure was grinning.

 ;D ;D ;D

Yeah baby, I'm rubbing off on him! Pretty soon Ken will be the most wanted man in WKY! ::)

Just came across some old pictures. Yup, it's a Honda. I sold it to a neighbor. No oil leaks, runs cool, tires last 10,000 miles, but...You know what......

IT JUST DOESN'T HAVE ANY SOUL

So your looking for "old" pictures :) here's one from April 99 taken in Burlington NC . The reason that HD riders don't buy Honda tee shirts is HONDA doesn't make any to sell and most lawn mower shops do not sell cloths.

A honda (or any non HD) V-twin doesn't have the same rumble or feel and as far a folks not being happy with the MOCO I can assure you that most people are unhappy with any major mfg of any product.

Adding to what Don has said..Rolling Thunder Dyno....John Golden and his wife..What great people!! Their yno broke down right in the middle of making a custom map for my Jester. They ended up calling in a favor with the local HD dealer and we used their dyno. Ended up, it was also broke. SO, the convoy goes back to john's place, and he downloads another map from a similar bike. He worked on me from 9:30 till 3:30 or so. He wouldn't charge me a penny. He's not totally satisfied with the tune, as I'm not, BUT..it runs twice as good as it did before. First chance, I'll get him to finish this tune. No-one else will touch it.

Howie, I thought this shirt would go with your traxion shirt.

I'm telling Don about the dynamic forces required to wreck a dyno like that.

Don's thinking...This idiot is from KY. My moped has more torque than that. BUT, if it makes him feel better,,,WE'll let him think it.

And Don, I hate to pick on you. You were such a gracious host. BUT.....Why was this in the kitchen? Don't tell me it was used in the bisquits? If so, is that what you call preventive medicine?
