if it attaches in the rear with the same kind of bracket as does their dual tour seats you'll have a little adjustment for that fitment around the tank and dash.
That is what the instructions say. The seat locks down onto a tapered pin. The bracket that receives the pis is part of the flip mechanism. It is held on by 6 bolts and there doesn't seem to be any adjustment.
I'll snap some pics of it later.
You probably remember that I'm not a big fan of that faux luggage rack. So I'd not really care a lot about losing it
Yeah I know. I actually do like it somewhat. But if that was all that would be lost I could live with it. I'm guessing that there is some type of replacement that would take its place. Right now it looks kind of silly with just the two tour pak brackets sticking out.
But wait ...... the tour pak won't fit either, so I could remove those brackets too!
The front of the tour pak hits the lower part of the seat where the lock is. Not even close.
But man, losing the rider's backrest? That'd be a tough loss to take
Stealth rack, tour pak, drivers backrest, have to remove the rear pin every time I put the cushy seat on for Deb ..... quickly losing my appeal for the seat. I may still but some spacers in the frame to temporarily bolt every thing together and take it for ride though.
Oh did I mention, that the seat position is higher too. Normally in sneakers I am flatfooted with room to spare on the ground, even with the comfort stitch seat. With this one I can just about get flat on the ground.
