On the 06 SEUC have never particularly cared for the football air cleaner cover. So I have been on search for a "unique" cover. Found this on http://www.badasscovers.com/index.htm

this is the one I thought was interesting

comes with chrome insert . So I wanted it to match my horn cover with SE insert.

so I morphed the SE logo with 103 off of the round insert and put SE head in the middle. Originally thought about red highlight, but the timer cover insert on horn is black, and since actual timer and derby cover have red graphics, am leaning toward black outline. so any opinions? ( as if I have to ask!) john

the horn cover pix is actual from my bike. I have the AC cover but not put on since deciding what to do with the insert. Dan (badasscovers) is great to deal with the chrome is high quality the billet piece is heavy stuff. They have five or six different style for horns and AC cover but all are made to accept a variety of stock HD insert or can get blanks to do your own. John

Ok, then the "Screamin' Eagle gear shift linkage" is what I saw that I liked. Share the wherecan I purchase/cost info so I can add it to my wish list. Just when I thought I was getting to the end damn OCD/SEO kicks in.

I got this at Xmas. the site is:  http://gordonshdparts.safeshopper.com/  Gordon is canadian, and the price then was $155. he had made it for someone who backed out on purchase so pulled a 2LN and without hesitation bought it. Easy to deal with, kind of a stealthy piece unless up close, and obviously unique.  I am sure if he made one he can make more. good luck John
