As promised, here is a picture of the bike I bought after this ride...

Notice anything?  Not a single piece of chrome to polish on the entire bike!!!

Finally I have a bike I can spend MORE time riding and NO time cleaning.

Hey Jock, that's a bike you can take to the neighborhood 'car wash' and hose it down w/ the pressure washer and 'ride on'.  :huepfenjump3: har!  spyder

Har,

As a matter of fact, you described exactly what I did last night after a weekend on some dirt.

One of the hill climbs...

If that's a hill climb, this guy is in trouble! :huepfenlol2:

Looks like a lot of fun Jock.

Heyyyyy...let's not drag down the CVO name/status on this bike...far from it...but thanks for the thought.

Just another bike, nothing special like our CVOs.

Jock,

Thanks for sharing the information and pictures.  I think it would be a blast to get some time on a multi-purpose bike again.

Bob,

You are only a little over an hour away from some good riding in your area too.

Q,

Wish I could have taken a photo of all of them.  Thought about it too late.  I have never seen so many of them on the road in my life.

In addition, the women looked good in them too!!!

I bet they did. You can be hung like an acorn and score some fine women with a Ferrari!

A little tidbit I forgot to mention...becoming the norm for my rides to this area, I experienced yet again another issue with my bike.  Check this out...

At first I thought the low beam head light was out ONLY...after 50 more miles, I discovered that it would come on if I positioned the wheel a certain way.  Then that discontinued and no lights would work.  After all this at the end of the day, I could NOT get the light to cut off even AFTER shutting down the bike totally.  Finally, I had to disconnect the battery.

Things that make you go mmmm...
