One thing that you have to remember is that the CVO bikes are only a platform for you to personalize and make it your self-expression. The MoCo makes a few and sells them at a higher price to afford you the opportunity to move on from there. These are not end-all, be-all bikes.
They have a limited edition paint job, some different chrome, and, as of a few model years into it, an engine that is comprised of an increase in horsepower and torque over the norm. Nothing else is promised, although, through marketing and advertising you may perceive that it is. It is expensive to think that you can make these a one of a kind dream-bike. Many issues need to be addressed with your personal tastes and money. That being said, you can decide what and where you want to put your money into this platform of self expression. Each and every person that has an association with these bikes makes that decision. Some decide that whatever the factory has made satisfies them. Again, a personal choice. Take the satisfaction that you have in the relatively small group of folks that have these CVOs and enjoy the bike for what it is.
